Q: Who will my account executive be after the
acquisition? A: For the vast majority of customers, your account executive will remain the same. If there is a change, Datalink sales and engineering management will contact you.
Q: Will the combined company stop offering any of the
services currently offered by either Datalink or MCSI? A: No. Datalink will continue to offer the same services.
MCSI customers will benefit from Datalink’s dedicated support center,
as well as expanded solution & services offerings.
Q: As a current MCSI customer, how will this acquisition benefit me? A: You will see a deeper pool of talented professional services and sales teams, a broader suite of data availability, data recovery, and storage management solutions, as well as a dedicated support center.
Q: Do you anticipate any interruptions in service? A: We are very focused on a quick and seamless integration. We have a transition team in place that has prepared for and will oversee the integration process. We believe that the steps we’ve taken, along with the similarities in our cultures and processes, will help to ensure a smooth integration.
Q: Will I need
to sign a new contract for services after the acquisition? A: No. All current service contracts will be honored per
the terms of the existing contract.
Q: I am an MCSI customer with a support contract in
place, who should I contact to obtain customer support services? A: In the near term, please access support services as
you did with MCSI. Call 888-307-6274. Once the integration of
the two companies is complete, you will be transitioned to
Datalink support services. We will keep you apprised of changes
and important announcements.
